VK-011 Flowcomputers of types B, C
Flowcomputers of types B, C (henceforth flowcomputers) provide measurement of gaseous media in one or two pipelines:
version 01 and 11 for natural gas;
version 02 and 12 for compressed air, oxygen and other gases;
version 03 and 13 for superheated water vapor;
version 04 and 14 for dry saturated water vapor;
The flowcomputers are designed for application at the industrial facilities and public utilities as parts of the commercial and technological custody transfer units constructed on the principle of variable pressure drop flowmeters with standard restrictions (versions 01, 02, 03 and 04) or meters (versions 11, 12, 13 and 14).
The flowcomputer consists of a system unit (SU) and power unit (PU). The SU is equipped with a two-line liquid crystal display and a six-key keyboard. SU performs analog-digital transformation (ADT) of the primary transducer signals (pressure, pressure drop, resistive temperature transducers, “dry signal” output flow). The twochannel version of flowcomputers allows to perform gas measurement in two pipelines. The type B flowcomputers are optimal for two measurement devices of the versions 11, 12, 13 or 14 and the type C is intended for two measurement devices of the versions 01, 02, 03 or 04.
Natural gas, oxygen and air measurement is performed according to the RD-50-213 or GOST 8.563 method(upon the operator's choice). Vapor measurement is performed in the mass units (t) or volume units (m3), the energy transferred with the vapor is calculated.
The SU is equipped with three RS-232/RS-485 interface serial ports. PC communication distance of 1,2 km is provided by RS-485. The SU can communicate with the transducers HART interface. The PU supplies the SU with 12V dc voltage and can be installed at a distance up to 200m from the SU. The PU is connected to an accumulator to provide continuous operation for 72-hours even when the power supply is unavailable.
The flowcomputer is configured by PC, setup is done either by means of the PC or the keyboard. During operation, the SU forms archives for each pipeline: hourly substance volume 1560 values, daily volume 128 values, volume for preset operating intervals (2, 5, 10, 20 or 30 min.) 288 values. Besides, the following archives are also available: external interference archive (128 alarms), emergency archive (256 alarms), and archive of the limiting parameter overflow alarms (128 alarms). The archives, setup parameters and configuration can be viewed by means of the SU or PC.
