   UVR-011 A2-K Ultrasonic Flowmeter

 

     UVR-011 is a stationary time-pulse flowmeter which measures flow velocity, flow rate and volume of acoustically transparent liquids in pipelines under pressure. These flowmeters are designed for control of technological process in oil and gas industries, municipal engineering, in metallurgical, chemical and other branches of industry as well as in water supply and outflow systems.

     The flowmeters are manufactured in one-, and two-channel versions. Each channel can be used for measurement at a separate pipeline. The flowmeters can be used for measurement of drinking, process or river water, heat-carrier fluid, alkali and acid solutions, oil and its products, hot mazut, tar, energy oil, coke raw materials, stable gas condensate, sewage water, liquid ammonia, saltpeter etc.

     The device consists of a system unit (SU) and piezoelectric sensor transducers.Two sensors are used in each channel. Either clamp-on sensors (mounted on the pipeline surface) or cut-in

sensors (installed into bores made in the pipeline walls) can be supplied. Sensors are connected to the SU by means of a coaxial high frequency cable. The SU is installed indoors whereas, the sensors are installed at straight pipeline sections protected from atmospheric precipitation.

 

Flowmeter advantages:

- operating simplicity and reliability; digital method of signal processing;

- no mechanically moving units; no resistance to the flow or its disturbance caused;

- clamp-on sensor mounting can be performed in 2-3 hours;

- a special technique and tools are designed to mount the cut-in sensors on pressured pipeline without emptying the pipe;

- the flow archive is formed automatically for each channel data and for the sum/difference data of the channel pairs;

- the digital oscillograph mode allows visual control of the correctness of setup;

- the flowmeter is equipped with a built-in calibrator that allows to carry out verification by the non-pouring method in accordance with the approved technique. The interval between verifications is 2 years;

- the remote control PC is supplied with the software that allows to manage the automated information and measurement system using cable, telephone and GSM/GPRS communication;

- low detention;

- insensibility to pipeline vibration;

- independence from pulsation;

- reversibility;

UVR-011-M ULTRASONIC PORTABLE FLOWMETER

     UVR-011A-K-M (one-channel) and UVR-011A2-K-M (two-channel) pulse-time ultrasonic flowmeters with clamp-on sensors are designed for efficient measurement of flow of acoustically transparent liquids in pipelines under pressure and are used to determine the flow rate, to detect outbreaks and illegal connections to the pipelines, to adjust the operating modes of pumping units, to provide audit  etc.
The flowmeters can be used for  measurement of  drinking, process or river water, heat fluid, alkali and acid solutions, oil and its products, hot mazut, tar, energy oil, coke raw materials, stable gas condensate, sewage water, liquid ammonia, saltpeter etc.
The flowmeters consist of the system unit (SU) and two or four (for the two-channel types) sensors. The sensors are attached to the pipeline by means of the magnetic clamping or brackets and chains. The device is equipped with ultrasonic thickness gauge.
The devices provide:
 measurement and indication of instantaneous flow velocity (in the observed direction), flow rate and total progressive volume;
the archives of the data of the first and the second channel with an interval of 5, 10, 20, 30 minutes;
the archives of the sum/difference data of the first and the second channels;
registration of disability time;
data communication to the PC.

UVR-011 A2.2/*-K-G Ultrasonic Flowmeters with waterproof system unit

     The UVR-011 A2.2/*-K-G is a stationary time-pulse flowmeter which measures flow velocity, flow rate and volume of acoustically transparent liquids in one or two pipelines under pressure.

     The flowmeters can be used for measurement of drinking, process or river water, heat fluid, alkali and acid solutions, oil and its products, hot mazut, tar, energy oil, coke raw materials, stable gas condensate, sewage water, liquid ammonia, saltpeter etc.

     The devices consist of system unit (SU) in a waterproof enclosure, one or two pairs of piezoelectric sensor transducers and power and communication unit equipped with a keyboard and liquid crystal display.

     The flowmeters are manufactured in one-, and two-channel versions. Each channel can be used for measurement at a separate pipeline. The flowmeters can be used for liquid measurements in out-of-the-way places unprotected from climatic influence (humid basements, wells). The system unit is installed near the pipeline (eg. under a shed), the power and communication unit - inside the control room. The power and communication unit provides the low voltage power for the system unit and as well as indication of measurement data and adjustment parameters and data exchange between the flowmeter and the PC. Flowmeter setup and adjustments are performed via the PC. The flowmeter adjustment parameters can be checked by means of the power and communication unit keyboard.

     Within each channel two sensors are used. The sensors are installed at straight pipeline sections protected from atmospheric precipitation and are connected to the system unit with a coaxial high-frequency cable up to 100 m in length. Either clamp-on sensors (mounted on the pipeline surface) or cut-in sensors (installed into the bores made in the pipeline walls) can be supplied.
