UVR-011A1.1 time-pulse ultrasonic flowmeters are designed for acoustically transparent liquids (water, oil products etc.) control in the pressure pipelines.
The flowmeter system units (SU) mounting is performed near the points where the cut-in electroacoustical transducers (EAT) or the flange sections are mounted (the maximal length of the SU EAT communication cable equals 3 m). The flowmeter setup and adjustments are performed by means of the PC. The versions with the built-in and the explosion safe external power units are available.
The SU of the flowmeter supplied with the built-in power unit is equipped with LED indicator and keyboard, that allows to observe the measurement results and setup parameters. The flowmeter is equipped with low- and high-frequency pulse output and RS232 interface. The flowmeter powering is performed by the lithium galvanic element or through the external 6-15 V DC source. The lithium element operating life makes 2-4 years depending on the diameter of the pipeline where the measurements are performed. The SU is designed for operation at the environment temperature from -20 up to +60 °C and humidity up to 80%. The SU enclosure dustand water-proof features correspond to GOST (SS) 14254 IP65.
The SU of the flowmeter supplied with the external power unit is not equipped with indication and control elements. The flowmeter powering, Hart-protocol data exchange and connection to the 4-20 mA current signal registration device is performed by a two-wire line. The flowmeter is powered by a 5-15 V DC power supply or a power and communication unit (PCU). The 4-20 mA current signal registration devise is connected to the flowmeter by the series connection with the power supply. PCU is equipped with LED indicator and keyboard, that allows to observe the measurement results and setup parameters. Through the PCU RS232/RS485 output it is possible to perform data exchange between the flowmeter and the remote control devices. PSU is powered directly through ~220 V AC power line or through the PCU-D stand-by powering unit. The twisted pair used the SU EAT communication line maximal length equals 1200 m. The SU is designed for operation at the environment temperature from -20 up to +60 °C and humidity up to 98%. The PCU is designed for operation at the environment temperature from +5 up to +45 °C and humidity up to 80%. The enclosure dust- and water-proof features correspond to GOST (SS) 14254 IP65 for the SU and IP20 for the PCU.
The interval between verifications is 2 years. To verify the flowmeters operating at the pipelines with the diameter exceeding 80 mm the imitation mode is applied (extra imitating equipment is not required). For the flowmeters with 25 80 mm internal diameter the pouring method is applied.
