Is a primary converter and is designed for temperature measurement of non-aggressive, non-flammable  gas stored indoors, in a tank or transported through a pipeline, for temperature value converting into the digital code and its output into the data acquisition system or to the ACS (automatic control system) of the facility.
Is intended for installation out of explosion hazard premises and outdoor facilities.
The converter is manufactured by a unique technology that minimizes the time of reaction to the temperature changes of the gas.

Gas temperature measurement range  from -15 °C to +60 °C.
Absolute accuracy of the temperature measurement  0,06 °C.
Gas flow velocity in the pipeline during the gas temperature measurement  from 0 to 50 m/s.
Response time is at 0,9T for the stepwise change of the temperature and flow velocity of 2 m/s  less than for 15 s.

The digital output signal type  RS-485. PC data exchange rate  115200 bit/s by the interface RS-485, MODBUS-like protocol.
For addressing from the PC the thermometer has an individual network address. The network address installation is performed by the software and stored in thermometer the non-volatile memory. The network address value range  from 1 to 127.
The converter outputs into the communication line the result of measurements upon the PC request.
The converters can be connected into a circuit. Maximal quantity of the converters in a circuit  32 pc.
Powering is performed by 9  15 V DC power supply. The current consumed from the power supply is up to 50 mA.
All the converters of the circuit can be connected to a common power supply. The communication line type for PC connection  the “twisted pair” with wave resistance of 100  120 Om. The communication line length  up to 120 m.
The cable type recommended for thermometers and PC connection is UTP5.
The connector type for powering and communication with PC is 2PM14BPH4B.
The power supply disabled the thermometers save:
- setup constants;
- calibration constants.
The thermometers are produced in the stainless steel enclosures.
